This is a museum devoted to clay pipes. Located in Amsterdam, it houses archaeological collections, a research library, and does publications. The title translates to Pipe Cabinet, I think.

This is an ambitious project. A fully searchable online database of the Old Bailey Criminal Court in London from 1674-1834. The entire database should be online by 2004, currently only 22,000 trials from 1414-1759 are present.

This is a wonderful collection of Japanese maps from the 17th century onward. The Insight java Client program allows the user to download GIS functionality in order to fully understand the maps.

This medical museum is located in Cleveland, at Case Western Reserve University. They have an extensive research collection on medical history, and the online exhibits include information (and pictures) on the smallpox epidemic in Cleveland (1902), medical instruments, and dissection of humans. Not to be looked at during lunch. :(
