Plimoth (read Plymouth) Plantation is also a living history museum, but quite different from Colonial Williamsburg. The reenactors here each play specific historical roles and stick with them like glue. The village itself is a working farm, with new buildings going up (in the correct period style of building), gardens, compost heaps, and food preparation.
